The said FRH was constructed during the year 2007-08. The said Forest Rest House in situated in the reserve Forest which is only reserve forest under the control of Bilaspur Forest Division. There is naturally growing stock of Deodar , Chil, Ban & Oak species. It is located at 1872 meters above mean 1872 mean sea level

Moreover there is an old Bridal path within the reserve Forest that used by local people to travel Bara Dev temple at Bari Dhar. FRH Bahadarpur is situated on favorite spot for the people of Bilaspur District . Moreover many tourists from adjacent areas visit the site during winter and summer season. The site witnesses light snow fall during the winter season and remains cool during summer season.
